The Legacy

Updated: 2 days ago

This collection began with an old embroidered sheet I found at my grandparents' house. The prototype I made from this first sheet seemed very interesting to me. So I went hunting for sheets from the 1950s, whose fabric and hand-embroidered details, crafted by our grandmothers and great-grandmothers, made them particularly inspiring. This collection brings this heritage from our ancestors into the modern age.

Nature does things very well. And when we decide to combine exceptional craftsmanship with the finest natural materials available, the result is truly outstanding products.

Before industrialization, almost all products were handmade. Taking their time, artisans chose the best materials. Textiles from the 1950s possess a quality that is now rare. The quality of cotton from that era can still be found, but at very high prices, out of reach for most.

I specifically chose this period because I love the style of bed linens from that time, and if they are still in very good condition, they will likely remain so for another two generations.

This collection is particularly dear to me because my grandmother did a lot of sewing and was very talented. I'm paying tribute to her through creations she would have loved to wear if she were my age today.
